CG3 Reading Group
A local reading group for people passionate about sustainable development and bold ideas for Concord’s future
Periodically, CG3 hosts a reading group, where we dive into relevant books, plans, policies, and documents that shape our city’s future.
We started with Strong Towns by Charles Marohn, — a book that challenged us to think differently about how cities grow, spend money, and plan for the future. Since then, we've explored articles, research, and city policies — from the zoning ordinances to urban planning — to guide conversations and inspire action for Concord’s sustainable and equitable growth. Our goal is to empower community members to confidently advocate for the future Concord they want to see.
What’s on the shelf now? We’re reading through the city’s Master Plan for our Preparing for the Master Plan initiative. Join us as we explore the plans that will guide our growth and add your voice to the conversation.
Want to join? Email us (and include your phone number) at info@concordgreenspace.com.
