This is it folks... we've got a great opportunity to remove the Langley Parkway Phase 3 from the budget - let's not throw it away! Your voice matters!

Show up and testify at the upcoming City Budget Hearing on June 2nd at 5:30pm - City Hall.

1. MAKE A PLAN to be at the meeting on 6/2 and RECRUIT YOUR FRIENDS (wear green)

You can still make a difference by contacting your City Councilors and letting them know how important this issue is to you.

1. Prepare your testimony - you can use the Testimony Guide linked below to help plan your thoughts.

2. Lookup your City Councilor if you do not know them (Ward map available here)

3. Email or call your City Councilor and At-Large Councilors (emails and contact information available here) and be sure to include concordgreenspace@gmail.com so we have a copy of your testimony that we can also hand in on 6/2.

Subject: Remove CIP40 from Concord’s budget

Dear City Councilors,

I live on (INSERT NAME OF STREET/ROAD/ETC HERE) in Ward (INSERT CITY WARD HERE).

I am against the Langley Parkway Phase 3 extension because it is an expensive and unnecessary project that will destroy a treasured community natural resource. The Parkway is an old plan from the 1950s that doesn’t reflect the current desires of the Concord community and is based on outdated and faulty data.The Parkway won’t fix traffic issues, it won’t save lives, and it destroys habitat and community resources.

I am asking you to remove CIP40 from the budget. It is a waste of taxpayer money, and is an outdated plan that destroys a valued Concord community resource.

Thank you for your time and I hope you will take action to remove this item from Concord’s budget.
