The "Rebuild@Rundlett" initiative is changing course!

Updated: Oct 28, 2022

In light of the recent news that the Centerpoint Church land is off the table for the Middle School project, we have an important opportunity for a deeper discussion around the Middle School location and design. In May 2022, when it looked like the Centerpoint land and the existing Rundlett site were the only two locations being considered, we launched our campaign to advocate for the latter asRebuild@Rundlett. Now, with the School Board reviewing other possible locations (including Broken Ground), and because we want to be more inclusive in this conversation, we are changing course. Moving forward our focus is on rebuilding the middle school wherever it is that best serves the community. In order to figure that out, we need to have community wide conversations! FAQ here.

Please join us on October 26th from 5:30-8pm, for part 1 of a two-part community workshop on the Middle School project moderated by Carisa Corrow of Educating for Good. Enjoy pizza and snacks as we narrow in on YOUR project priorities and review the research on what best supports young learners. We will be joined by the new School Board candidates! All are welcome - please RSVP!

Part 2 (November 16th, 6-8pm) will include updates on the Middle School project plans and a community discussion. We will be joined by Superintendent Murphy and Concord School Board members! All are welcome! Please RSVP.

If you are unable to attend either dates please feel free to weigh in here! We’ll collect everyone’s input and provide it to the school board prior to the Nov 16th workshop.

Thanks so much,

The Middle School REBUILD team
