About The Event

URGENT:  We need 8 out of 15 City Councilors to vote down Langley Extension Phase 3 on May 12th.  PLEASE reach out to friends in all wards and have them email, write, call their city councilors to stop the extension - it's time to put on the pressure!  Come to the meeting to learn more.  We need your help!

LOCATION - We will meet on the Langley Extension nature trail at the junction of the water tower trail.  See map.  You can walk in from Granite Ledges.  You can walk in from theh gate on Auburn Street.  You can walk in on the little trails connecting to the Langley nature trail at the easement between 64 & 66 Ridge Rd.

Opposed to the Langley Park extension plan? On the fence? Don't know about it? Please join us this WEDNESDAY APRIL 20th from 5:30-6:30pm to discuss the issue and get organized. This isn't just a Ward 5 issue - it affects all of Concord. Come learn why and bring friends! We will meet at the intersection of the Langley extension trail and the water tower trail. Feel free to bring kids, snacks, and camp chairs. We have until May 12th to get our voices heard.

It is our understanding that there will only be two opportunities for public hearings on this matter and those are during the budget hearings: June 2nd at 5:30 and June 9th at 5:30 during budget adoption. There will be NO public hearing exclusively on Langley Parkway Extension 3. The June 2nd public hearing will include Parks & Rec, the Library, TIF districts and Community Development. I have been told that when the budget from the City Manager is submitted for consideration in May, very little changes. Any impact from the public will have to happen before Council receives it on May 12th.
