We're taking the show on the road ... schedule a Looking@Loudon Road Listening Session today!

This winter Concord Greenspace hosted three public community listening sessions for Concord residents to share their thoughts on the safety, livability, and economic development along the Loudon Road corridor.  Now, we are bringing the listening sessions directly to YOU!

To schedule your listening session:

1. Organize a group of at least 8 Concord residents (neighbors, friends, a community group, business, or organization).

2. Email us at concordgreenspace@gmail.com and include your phone number.  

3. We will call you to schedule a listening session at your convenience! 
   

WHY NOW?

The present moment marks a critical juncture for Loudon Road. The impending Steeplegate Mall redevelopment, Kiwanis/Riverfront Improvement Project, the urgent demand for housing, the proposed ConcordNEXT zoning, the I-93 Deck Park improvement initiative, the increased need for parks, and the increasing loss of Concord's urban tree canopy all make it an opportune time to envision and invest in the Heights. This includes highlighting the rich history of the area and what makes it special and beloved by its residents old and new. 

The urgency for addressing safety on Loudon Road is also evident—two crash-related fatalities in the last 6 months and 1,507 crashes since 2014. Twenty-seven of these crashes involved pedestrians or cyclists underscoring the immediate need to address transportation safety on this vital corridor.
